Before day one: records and planning

Month 1: the adjustment

Attachments go on at the first fitting; they feel like small rough spots for about a week. The first aligner is tight and your speech has a lisp for a few days. Months 2 to 4: visible change

Months 5 to 9: the plateau

Months 10 to 14: the refinement

A new scan compares where the teeth are to where the plan expected. Nearly every case has a few teeth slightly behind, so a shorter series of refinement aligners is ordered to finish the details. Included in the fee at this clinic. Expect one round; complex cases may have two.

The finish
